“Voices of Women in the Cloisters? arise as project of recovery of a musical repertoire compound and interpreted by and for women.

The complete program of religious music, includes works of Hispanic-Mozarabic, Gregorian song and polyphony, interprets of way alternatim, monody and polyphony, doing a reconstruction of how it sang in the monasteries and churches of the time.

First half, Feminine Cloisters of Granada, is formed by music of the musical archives of feminine convents of closing of Granada. There are works from monody, to carols of the S.XVIII.

The second part, Italian Convents of Nuns, consists of baroque music of the Italian, motetes, this time composed by women, two nuns of the century XVII, Sulpitia Cesis and Chiara Cozzolani.
